Holiday Table
The dining room table is where I have some of my fondest memories. The best conversations. The loudest laughs. Whether it’s a small, intimate meal with my husband and kids, or a larger gathering of friends and extended family, I try to make the table look as good as it feels to sit around it.
Christmas 2020 called for another intimate dinner with the family – so I decided to keep it simple (if you’re new here – hi, I am Sarah and I strive for simplicity on the reg). Let’s be honest, we all have enough to do and think about around the Holidays.
I started with a flax colored linen tablecloth. I ran a garland of eucalyptus across the table, and tucked in a few stems of a lighter eucalyptus for some dimension.
Instead of an elaborate centerpiece, I opted for three pillar candles placed in the center of the table.
I am loving black dishes right now. I wedged the napkin between two black bamboo plates, and chose the gold flatware for an elegant contrast.
For a quick and easy garnish, I cut a few sprigs of pine from the Christmas tree and tied them with twine.
And that is it for this Holiday table, I hope you find it to be as beautiful as I do! Let me know how you make your table a fun and special place to eat in the comments below.
