Beginnings

Welcome to my page! My name is Sarah. On April 24, 2020, my family and I moved from a larger house on a one acre lot into a smaller, colonial style home in a subdivision. Although the location is prime and the neighborhood absolutely beautiful, we definitely sacrificed size and privacy in order to move to a town we both love. Anyone who has downsized knows that it can be difficult fitting what you have into the new, smaller space. I will be honest – it was hard! My husband (Dave) and two daughters (Kate and Maddie) have been putting up with me running around like a crazy lady trying to make our new house one that we all love.

Interior design and decorating has been a passion of mine since my husband and I purchased our first home, six years ago. I’ve never been much of a writer, and more of a private person, to be honest. However, over the course of the past few months, I am having so much fun renovating, decorating and photographing my progress – I thought I would share it. Slowly, our new house is becoming my absolute favorite place in the entire world. Hopefully, you will find inspiration here.
