Creating a Simple Holiday Table

“Who uses black candlesticks 😒”, asked the woman at Crate and Barrel last year…as I’m standing at the register with a box of black taper candles 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

This moody holiday table design has been a long time coming! I knew I wanted textured layers to create the coziest atmosphere for our guests. This white linen tablecloth with fringe is SO stunning, and the perfect base layer for the table. I added a natural linen table runner for some extra texture, and to warm up the table. These natural linen napkins are such great quality, and tie everything together so nicely!

Black dinnerware is the perfect contrast to the white tablecloth. And I’m not gonna lie, these water glasses are some of the best I’ve seen. They are a beautiful amber color, which I am loving for year-round entertaining. They’re also stackable, so you can store them in tighter spaces.

I set up a little drink station for extra credit. Again, keeping it simple – this drink holder allows your guests to serve themselves. A brass tray like this one from IKEA works perfectly to set a few glasses on. I added a wreath for visual interest and to add a little holiday touch. A few more candles and voila!

Here are the links for everything else I used to create this look!
